I participated in the program "Day of the Death" and let me tell you: IT WAS AMAZING. People that are involved in Impacta Mexico are so nice, so thoughtful and so helpful. I am grateful for the experience I had, because the Day of the Death is a very emotional and beautiful part of the Mexican culture that made me realize a lot of things about myself. If you are thinking about going, don't hesitate and do it! You will definitely not regret it!

I participated in Impacta Mexico's - Assistant English Teacher program and it was out of the best experiences I've ever had! Being passionate about education and global mobility matters, this experience brought me closer to the youth and opened my eyes about Mexican education. During this time, Impacta Mexico's team made me feel like home, helped me to immerse in Mexican culture and offered me an unbelievable time. I was constantly surrounded by open minded, helpful locals who took me to cultural events, recommended authentic dishes, guided me throughout the preparations of the Day of the Dead celebration and made it an absolute blast! I would definitely go back one day and I strongly recommend their programs to anyone in search for an outstanding, new, cultural experience. 🇲🇽❤️

I was in the Day of death program & I dont have words for describe the experience. The team, the people the organization it was amazing. Definitly I recommend this org., the have my entire confident. I hope come back and make a mid-short volunteering with the same org.

Travel to Mexico and discover its rich culture was a big dream of mine. Sure, you can read books, watch documentaries, but there is nothing like your own experience. Dani and his colleagues/friends do their best to show and share as much as they can. A personal tip, sleep in advance, cause the Day of the Dead programe is intense, but in the best way possible.
We ate an amazing food, danced, learned Spanish, hanged out with locals, got to know the history, the habits and the beautiful depth of Día de Muertos celebration while being right in the centre of it.
For those of you that are not quite sure about the reputation of some parts of Mexico, I felt safe and very welcome. And it was not just thanks to people from Impacta Mexico, but wherever we went, people were welcoming, sometimes curious, sometimes shy.

All in all, I am so grateful for this experience ❤️
